"By juxtaposing art, science and technology the human body is replicated with industrial materials. My two-dimensional works draw from intellectual jargon to slang, from graffiti to ageless bronze. As public art, figurative sculpture is a truly magnificent way of embracing our humanity and reflecting upon our culture. I deliberately use sub-aesthetic and found materials in an abstract and blunt way to call into question the traditional hierarchies and distinctions between art mediums, our normal associations with the nature of materials, and their industrial origins."
